Aastra’s Unilateral Minimum Advertised Price (MAP) Policy for the United States
Effective March 31st 2012, Aastra USA Inc. is implementing a unilateral minimum advertised price (“MAP”) policy in the United States for specific products in order to encourage all of its channel partners to promote and invest in the marketing, pre-sales and post-sales services and support of certain Aastra products in the United States so as to promote and preserve Aastra’s premium offering for such products.
Aastra’s MAP policy shall apply to each of Aastra’s products that may be designated by Aastra as “Aastra MAP Products” and that are sold and marketed to customers located in the United States through Aastra’s channel partner network, including distributors, value added resellers, direct marketing resellers and other resellers of Aastra MAP Products in the United States. This policy applies to ALL channel partners who market, offer for sale, sell or otherwise distribute Aastra MAP Products regardless of whether such partners are subject to Aastra’s Reseller Program.
